MMHA is unsure what our 2020/2021 season will look like, so please be patient as we try and work thru these different times in safe manner.

 

2020/2021 SEASON REGISTRATION

MMHA will not be having any Oversized Rosters this year any Recreational or Female Recreational Teams. Registrations for these teams will be accepted on a First Come, First Serve basis.  If there is enough to make 2 teams, then MMHA will consider making 2 teams.

REGISTRATION IS NOT CONSIDER COMPLETE UNTIL ALL THE NECESSARY FORMS ARE COMPLETED AND FEES ARE PAID IN FULL

U13, U15, U18 REP ICE
Extra Ice for Rep teams will begin at the beginning of September. The $75.00 Rep Ice fee MUST be paid by August 15th. Rep Ice fees are Non-Refundable.

CARDING FEES (U11 Dev and U13/U15/U18 Rep)
Players selected to a Dev/Rep team will pay an additional carding fee of $250.00 once teams are finalized. There will be a carding night after Dev/Rep teams are finalized, where you will be required to pay your carding fees. DO NOT SEND Post Dated cheques for your carding fees. Carding fees are Non-Refundable. Players on a Dev/Rep team are required to abide by the MMHA equipment and apparel dress code.

RESPECT IN SPORT(PARENT)
MMHA made it mandatory starting in the 2015-16 season that all players have a parent/guardian take the Respect In Sport (Parent) course prior to participation. Once the course is completed it will appear on the players Hockey Canada registration profile. Until the course is completed any NEW Player(s) will not be able to participate. VOLUNTEERING
All Volunteers must complete their Criminal Record Check and Respect in Sport before helping out. If you would like to volunteer as a Coach/Asst Coach, On-Ice Helper, please go to the following links and complete the corresponding forms, as well as Respect in Sport and Criminal Record Check.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

  • VISA/MASTERCARD - Online Registration Only.
  • E-TRANSFER - Send to treasurer@merrittminorhockey.com - Password is centennials. You must include your child’s full name in the memo field of the E-transfer.
  • CHEQUE - Either one payment or 3 post-dated cheques, dated for July 15th, August 15th & September 1st. Payable to A $25 NSF fee will be charged for any returned cheques. Post dated cheques are considered as payment in full.
  • CASH/MONEY ORDER - exact amount please.
  • FUNDING (KIDSPORT, JUMPSTART) - Please indicate at the time of registration if you are applying for funding. Either registration needs to be paid in full or a $100 deposit and proof of funding must be provided at time of registration to maintain your spot, as MMHA will not have oversized roster. Any applications that funding does not arrive or the shortfall in registration fee is not paid by Sept 1st, will not be eligible to participate and registration will revert to the wait list regardless of registration date. If you pay fees to MMHA and then obtain funding, we will reimburse you. You must apply directly to the funding organization. MMHA does not apply for funding on your behalf. Please apply for funding as soon as possible to avoid having your child's registration cancelled due to non-payment of fees.

DUAL ROSTERING
Female Players, should your child wish to be dual rostered, you will need to send an email to the registrar at nemgill@telus.net indicating your interest in having your child dual rostered. Please be aware that the team selection during registration will be the players primary team. Dual Rostering is not guarenteed, it will be all dependant on Team Sizes.

RETURNING PLAYERS (registered in the 2019/20 season)
Online registration is for returning players only and payment is by Credit Card Only. If you would like to use a different payment method, please complete the Registration Forms under New & Transferring players and submit with payment.

2020/2021 MMHA Online Registration


NEW & TRANSFERRING PLAYERS
Registrations for new and transferring players will be accepted starting June 15th. Online registration is NOT available for new/transferring players to our association. This includes players registered with us in 2019-20 on a Residential Waiver transfer. Please be sure to mail a copy of your child's birth certificate. Transferring players must also complete a Player Movement Application, along with the registration form and include the required documentation supporting residency. Please complete the below forms to register and mail to MMHA with payment and supporting documentation.

FAMILY DISCOUNT
Families with 3 or more players registering will receive $50.00 off there registration.

REFUNDS
Division Registration Fee, less $55.00 insurance fee only until October 1st. After October 1st - Division Fee, less $55.00 insurance fee, less $30.00 special event Fee, less $50.00 per month played. After Dec 1st - No Refunds will be given.
