Coaching Info


Below are the requirements needed to be a MMHA coach/assistant coach. Please review and complete the requirements.

Coaching Requirements:

The following must be completed before going on the ice:

MMHA Online Coaching Application 

  • Online Application must be filled out more than once, if coaching more than 1 division

* Hockey Canada - Planning a Safe Return to Hockey

* Respect in Sport - Different from the Parent RIS course

* Criminal Record Check

* MMHA Team Officials Contract

* Concussion Awareness Course

 

The following will be completed when the courses become available:

* Checking Clinic - All Coaches for Atom and above

* Coach 2 Course - Recreational Coach

* Development 1 Course - Rep Coach

Coaching Courses are available through the BC Hockey website. You will need your Hockey Canada ID number to register.  All courses taken will be reimbursed from MMHA upon completion of the course requirements.
